The Hood Museum of Art features Park Dae Sung's 'monumental' work.
Sunglim Kim, the associate professor of art history who curated Park Dae Sung: Ink Reimagined, discusses the exhibition, which will be on view at the Hood through March 19.
It's the largest, and first solo, exhibition of Park's work to be presented in the United States.
Some of the "monumental-sized ink paintings" reflect the ancient landscapes he has observed, and Kim notes that Park "often says nature is his teacher."
