Careers in Art History

Several careers are open to a student majoring or minoring in Art History at Dartmouth. We list and group some of the more popular career paths. Nothing precludes an Art History Major or Minor from continuing on to Medical School, Law School, Business School, or any other career path or advanced program of study. Indeed, the powers of critical thinking and visual analysis fine-tuned in an Art History program of study are conducive to success in a number of professions and careers.
