Ephemera: Dartmouth's Undergraduate Art & Art History Journal

About Ephemera

Ephemera: The Dartmouth Undergraduate Art and Art History Journal was founded by Chandini Peddanna '25. The first issue was published Spring 2025.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to create an engaging and dynamic platform for the exploration of art history within the Dartmouth community. By highlighting the work of student artists, showcasing the research and creative writing of students, and featuring the insights of professors and achievements of alumni, we aim to foster meaningful connections across campus and beyond. Through the publication of original research, creative and academic writing—from theoretical to abstract explorations—and event highlights, we encourage critical discussions that challenge traditional art historical narratives while embracing diverse voices. By keeping the Dartmouth community engaged with contemporary and historical art discourse, we seek to inspire curiosity, creativity, and intellectual growth for students, faculty, and alumni alike.
