BOOK DISCUSSION AND SPOTLIGHT DISCUSSION
Pictures at an Exhibition
Katherine Hart, Senior Curator of Collections and Barbara C. and Harvey P. Hood 1918 Curator of Academic Programming at the Hood Museum of Art, will present a talk about issues involving the provenance of works of art. After the talk, HeatherBackman from Howe Library will lead a discussion of Pictures at an Exhibition by Sara Houghteling, which focuses on a son's quest to recover his family's lost masterpieces, looted by the Nazis during the occupation. Light refreshments will be provided. Space for this event is limited. People who wish to register should call Howe Library starting May 15 at (603) 643-4120. Any participant can check out a copy at that time, whether a library card holder or not.
