Established by the faculty of the Department of Art History, this award honors the major or majors who they believe has demonstrated a commitment to the arts community on campus and who has shown citizenship in support of their fellow students in the department. This award is not granted every year, but only in those years when the faculty, as a whole, identifies a graduating senior or seniors that they would like to single out for special recognition.
